Job summary

Resustainability in Hyderabad seeks a senior Contract Manager to oversee end-to-end Contract Life Cycle Management across infra projects. The role requires analyzing technical and contractual scope, reviewing client communications, and ensuring compliance through project closure.

The candidate should have Civil Engineering or NICMAR background with 9–10 years of infra experience, including claims, variations, arbitration, and dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree or NICMAR background with infra project experience.
• 9–10 years experience in roads, irrigation, railways, airports etc.
• Strong knowledge of contract management principles and arbitration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end Contract Life Cycle Management (pre and post award).
• Analyze full scope of work technically and contractually.
• Review client correspondence on contractual and site issues.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements through project closure.
• Formulate claims for variations, price escalation, EOT, compensation, etc.

Role & responsibilities

Skills Required: Ensuring contract compliance, mitigating legal risks, and resolving disputes to protect the company's interests

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the Contract Life Cycle Management which includes pre award and Post award Contract Management.
• Understand and analyze the complete scope of work, in terms of technically and contractually.
• Review of regular correspondence with Client with respect to all the contractual and on any other site related issues.
• Ensuring compliance with all contractual & statutory requirements of the project till closure.
• Formulating claims for variations, price escalation, extension of time, compensation for extended stay, etc.
• Reviewing key sub-contract work orders and advising on any potential adverse conditions.
• Ensuring timely contractual closure of project in all respects.
• Periodic contractual review of the project and management reporting.
• Compiling backup documentation for any Dispute resolution/ Arbitration proceedings, in consultation with the Business head and CCO.
• Attending Arbitrations.
• Handle Arbitration proceedings end to end.
• Risk Identification and intimation to Management on regular intervals or whenever it occurs.
• Customer/Client Management by representing the organization in Contractual perspective.
• Internal documentation and administration of SOP and other Contract Management Processes.
• Identification and realization of Claims.
• Monitoring the Dispute Management Process including the arbitration.
• Handle contractual (Pre-tendering & post tendering) matters and provide guidance on contractual adherence & liability to operations teams and help implementation.
• Interpretation of contractual clauses.
• Do contractual Risk Assessment & provide inputs to management.
• Handling of claims and related issues, arbitration matters.
• Handle contractual dispute management & resolution.
• Coordination with BD, Proposals & Operations Staff for the matters related contacts management & arbitration.
• Creating awareness about contractual Conditions to the site management, business heads and other internal stakeholders.
• Timely escalation of critical issues to management.
• Provide leadership in the matters of contracts management & arbitration.

Preferred candidate profile

Must have Civil Engg/ NICMAR background with infra (Roads, irrigation, Railways, Airports) experience of 9-10 yrs .
