Job summary

Rabirun Vinimay Pvt. Ltd is seeking an experienced Manager to oversee Mechanical Maintenance within the Utility department.

Lead a team of engineers and technicians, develop preventive maintenance programs, and drive reliability improvements in a steel plant environment. The role requires 10–12 years in utility operation and maintenance with 3–5 years of project activity experience, and a proven track record in budgeting, safety, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of experience in Utility Operation & maintenance of steel plants with 3-5 years’ experience handling project activities.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mechanical maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of all utility-related mechanical equipment and systems.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance shutdowns and major repairs with minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for reliability improvements.
• Manage maintenance budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of spare parts and tools to optimize operational costs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by adopting best practices, new technologies, and innovative maintenance methodologies.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progress to senior management.
• Mentor and develop the skills of maintenance staff through training programs and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations.
