Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 7+ years of factory maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, utilities, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with TPM, reliability engineering, and maintenance planning.
• Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical maintenance for production equipment, utilities, and material handling.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability.
• Provide troubleshooting support for critical breakdowns and spare parts control.
• Drive TPM, Kaizen, and 5S to improve plant performance.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and maintenance contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Reliability

• Lead mechanical maintenance activities for all production equipment, utilities, and material handling systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Improve equipment reliability, availability, and maintenance performance through root cause analysis.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and critical equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure optimum spare parts management and maintenance cost control.

Engineering & Projects

• Support execution of engineering projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for productivity improvement, energy saving, and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors for maintenance and project activities.

People Management

• Guide, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Plan manpower, maintenance schedules, and resource utilization.
• Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and PPE.

EHS, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with EHS policies, statutory requirements, GMP, and Quality standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, toolbox talks, GEMBA walks, and incident investigations.
• Support audits, management reviews, and change management activities.

Operational Excellence

• Drive TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs such as Breakdown Hours, MTBF, MTTR, PM Compliance, and Maintenance Cost.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other functions to improve plant performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, utilities, preventive maintenance, reliability engineering, TPM, and maintenance planning.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
