Job summary

Jaivel Aerospace Limited is seeking a Function Leader - Plant Maintenance to drive maintenance, reliability and facilities across aerospace and manufacturing operations. You will lead maintenance, asset reliability, utilities and TPM programs to maximize uptime and safety while aligning with strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in industrial maintenance and asset management (CNC/VMC, utilities, HVAC, electrical).
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100, Lean, Six Sigma.
• Experience with TPM, preventive & predictive maintenance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage shifts.
• Willingness to work beyond standard hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance plans to ensure high equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Ensure smooth operation of CNC/VMC machines, utilities, electrical systems, HVAC, and safety systems.
• Monitor maintenance performance and take corrective actions.
• Plan maintenance activities with minimal production impact.
• Manage maintenance teams across shifts and support operational requirements.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and ensure quick resolution.
• Maintain maintenance records, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Develop and implement maintenance SOPs, best practices, and process improvements.
• Conduct regular audits, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Function Leader - Plant Maintenance, who thrives ina high performance and fast paced technical environment. Being a keymember of the organizational leadership team, you will be responsiblefor delivering Maintenance function goals & objectives aligned toorganization strategy. Lead Maintenance, Asset Reliability, Utilities,and Facility Management across Aerospace, UAV, CNC/VMC Machining,Tooling, and Advanced Manufacturing operations. Drive maximumequipment uptime, operational excellence, safety, compliance, and costoptimization while supporting business growth and manufacturingperformance with strong expertise in preventive & predictivemaintenance, reliability engineering, facilities management, TPM,Lean, and AS9100-ISO compliant operations.

What you'll deliver:

• Develop and execute maintenance plans to ensure high equipmentreliability and uptime.
  
• Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
  
• Ensure smooth operation of CNC/VMC machines,utilities,Electrical systems,HVAC,compressors,Transformers,firesafety systems, solar panels, and related infrastructure.
  
• Monitor maintenance performance and take corrective actionswhen required.
  
• Plan maintenance activities with minimal impact on production.
  
• Manage maintenance teams across shifts and support operational requirements.
  
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and ensure quick resolution.
  
• Ensure maintenance activities are effectively planned andexecuted to meet production, reliability, and cost targets.
  
• Maintain required inventory of spare parts, tools,consumables, and lubricants.
  
• Monitor and optimize energy consumption and utility usage.
  
• Maintain maintenance records, manuals, and technical documentation.
  
• Develop and implement maintenance SOPs, best practices, andprocess improvements.
  
• Conduct regular audits, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  
• Conduct fire safety drills, equipment inspections, and team training.
  
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and SupplyChain teams to achieve operational objectives.
  
• Build, develop, and mentor maintenance teams through trainingand skill development programs.
  

What You'll Need

• Passion for manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement.
  
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in aleadership role.
  
• Strong expertise in industrial maintenance and assetmanagement, including CNC/VMC machines, HVAC/VRV systems,pneumatic, electrical and utility infrastructure, Preventive maintenance (PPM), troubleshooting,Energy management, and Industry 4.0/IoT applications.
  
• Good understanding of Quality Management Systems and ISO9001/AS9100 standards.
  
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  
• Strong engineering fundamentals, risk assessment, andproblem-solving skills.
  
• Flexibility to support business needs beyond standard workinghours when required.
