Vikrant Forge Ltd in India is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to plan and coordinate domestic and export dispatches, ensuring alignment with customer delivery schedules. You will arrange transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines, handle heavy/oversized projects, and maintain shipment tracking and cost control, while ensuring compliance with export regulations and Incoterms.

The role requires hands-on planning from dispatch to final delivery, with a focus on on-time delivery

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/heavy engineering environment.
• Ability to independently handle domestic and export shipments from dispatch planning through final delivery.

Mansioni

• Plan and coordinate domestic and export dispatches per customer delivery schedules.
• Arrange transporters, containers, trailers, freight forwarders and shipping lines.
• Handle logistics for heavy, oversized and project cargo where applicable.
• Coordinate with CHA/customs brokers, freight forwarders, ports, shipping lines and transporters for export shipments.
• Prepare and coordinate export and shipping documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, BL, CO, etc.).
• Track shipments/vehicles and ensure on-time delivery to domestic and international customers.
• Obtain and negotiate freight and transportation rates and control logistics costs.
• Monitor and minimize detention, demurrage, transit delays and other logistics costs.
• Coordinate loading, packing, lashing and safe handling of heavy/valuable equipment.
• Resolve transportation, documentation, customs and delivery-related issues.
• Maintain shipment tracking, freight cost, dispatch, POD and logistics MIS reports.
• Evaluate transporter/freight-forwarder performance and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, export regulations and Incoterms.

• Prepare and coordinate export and shipping documentation, including Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, BL, Certificate of Origin, etc.
• Track shipments/vehicles and ensure on-time delivery to domestic and international customers.
• Obtain and negotiate freight and transportation rates and control logistics costs.
• Monitor and minimize detention, demurrage, transit delays, and other additional logistics costs.
• Coordinate loading, packing, lashing, and safe handling of heavy/valuable equipment.
