Job summary

SITA is hiring an experienced Network Services Engineer to manage end-to-end lifecycle of network and security services, including provisioning, monitoring, and decommissioning. You will support airport networks, WAN, firewalls, and Versa SD-WAN, delivering timely deployments while minimizing operational disruption.

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field; CCNP/Network+ desirable; Security cert mandatory.
• Strong lifecycle knowledge: provisioning, monitoring, and decommissioning.
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and security protocols (HSRP, PVST).
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper devices and SD-WAN deployment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of network & security services from provisioning to decommissioning.
• Provide L2/L3 support for Airport network & security infra including Versa SD-WAN.
• Collaborate across teams to design, implement, and optimize network services.
• Oversee provisioning processes for timely, accurate deployments.

PURPOSE

Responsible for service provisioning and the end-to-end lifecycle of a network network security shared infrastructure SDWAN and other cloud security solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the complete lifecycle of network & security services, from initial provisioning through to decommissioning, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency.
• Responsible for Implementation, Deployment & providing L2/L3 support for Airport network & security Infra, including LAN, WAN, firewall, Versa SDWAN solution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize network services that meet organizational and customer requirements.
• Oversee the provisioning process for network services, ensuring timely and accurate deployment of resources and capabilities.
• Conduct regular performance monitoring and analysis to identify areas for improvement and ensure network services meet operational benchmarks.
• Implement changes and enhancements to network services, managing associated risks and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network & security Infrastructure services configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
• Support incident and problem management processes, contributing to the resolution of issues affecting network services and facilitating root cause analysis.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance service provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Provide training and support to operational teams on network services and lifecycle management best practices.

Available for on call support to service operations teams when needed for complex incident support ? Required to work in 24*7 environment based on change or deployment calendar . ?

EXPERIENCE

• Proven 5 to 8 years of experience in managing and optimizing the lifecycle of network services including provisioning, performance monitoring, and decommissioning.
• Hands-on experience in network service design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams including Engineering, Operational, and Customer-facing teams.
• Experience in implementing changes and enhancements to network services with a focus on minimizing operational disruption.
• Prior involvement in training and supporting operational teams on network service management best practices.
• Experience in evaluating and adopting new technologies and methodologies to improve service provisioning and management processes.
• Strong working knowledge of the following routing protocols: BGP, OSPF (EIGRP, RIP optional).
• Strong working knowledge of the following security protocols: VTP, STP, RSTP, PVST, HSRP.
• Experience in implementing and troubleshooting Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco ASA and Palo Alto).
• Working knowledge of Datacenter switching (e.g., Cisco Nexus, ACI); Versa SD-WAN will be an added advantage.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) are desirable.
• Any Security Associate-level certification is mandatory.
• Associate-level SD-WAN Certification (Specialist or Professional level) will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of network services lifecycle management including provisioning, monitoring, and decommissioning.
• Understanding of network protocols, service models, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Familiarity with network management tools and technologies.
• Ability to design and implement network services to meet both organizational and customer needs.
• Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes in a network operations context.
