Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Gurugram, India seeks a senior in-house corporate lawyer with 8-10+ years of experience. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors, manage NDAs, and provide contract lifecycle support to business teams.

You will monitor evolving laws, develop standard templates, support litigation, and help drive automation to empower the business while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• LLB with 8-10+ years in-house corporate experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating contracts.
• Experience appearing in courts/arbitration.
• Experience with NDAs and standard templates.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage contracts end-to-end.
• Interpret contracts and advise business teams on contractual issues.
• Draft templates for standard agreements.
• Monitor changing laws and assess applicability to the company.
• Automate contracts to reduce day-to-day involvement by legal.
• Manage litigation and coordinate with law firms.
• Appear in courts/arbitration on behalf of the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and end to end management of company contracts with clients, vendors, NDAs etc., and other legal correspondence.
• Interpreting contracts and advising business team on contractual issues
• Drafting templates for standard agreements
• Keep a track of changing laws and identify the applicability of various laws to the company.
• Automation of contracts and other legal documents thereby leading to lesser involvement of legal in day-to-day activities and making the business team self-reliant
• Litigation Management - Civil Litigation, Legal Notices/Reply to Legal notices.
• Coordination and follow up with law firms.
• Appearing in courts, arbitration tribunals etc., on behalf of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Legal professionals with LLB and with a minimum of 8-10+ years in-house corporate legal departments only.
