Job summary

RTX in Bengaluru (Hybrid) seeks a Project Manager with hands-on embedded software development and DO-178 V&V experience to lead aerospace projects. You will develop plans, manage costs, monitor milestones, and coordinate cross-functional teams across borders.

The role requires BE/B.Tech in relevant engineering, strong analytical abilities, and knowledge of DOORS, Synergy CM/Change or Polarion. Prior aerospace domain exposure is preferred, with a focus on risk management and adherence to PM

Qualifications

• Hands-on embedded software development experience.
• V&V experience following DO-178 guidelines.
• Good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of design techniques, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage task-based or small to medium projects with minimal guidance from the Program/Project engineering group.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets with the project team.
• Track recurring and non-recurring costs, including overall project cost.
• Ensure scope changes are identified, documented, and communicated to stakeholders.
• Perform critical path analysis and utilize earned value management.
• Track and monitor project milestones.
• Track engineering metrics such as on‑time delivery and quality.
• Deploy project management methods and procedures to ensure adherence to established PM practices.
• Coordinate with supply chain, sourcing, purchase, and cross‑functional departments on projects.
• Lead project reviews with management and counterparts in the USA and other countries.
• Identify risk triggers and apply risk management practices to mitigate or avoid project risks.
