Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, develop, and validate DO-178 compliant software for next-generation avionics. The role leads software development across the SDLC and collaborates with Systems Engineering, Verification, Certification, and Program Management.

• 6+ Years of Strong expertise in DO-178 and ARP4754A development processes.
• 9+ Years of Hands-on experience with embedded software development using C/C++.
• 8+ Years of Deep understanding of software lifecycle processes, requirements engineering, and verification methodologies.
• Experience deriving software requirements from system/customer requirements.
• 7+ Years of Strong knowledge of avionics communication protocols: ARINC 429 ARINC 653 ARINC 615A.
• Experience defining software test strategies and verification plans.
