Qualifications

• AKAMAI certification(s) or equivalent hands-on expertise.
• Experience with PCI-DSS or GDPR compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for AKAMAI security features, especially Bot Manager, Web Application Protector (WAP), and DDoS protection.
• Configure and optimize AKAMAI CDN rules and security configurations to align with business and application needs.
• Monitor and analyze security threats across the eCommerce landscape.
• Develop mitigation strategies and incident response procedures.
• Support improvements in bot detection, rate limiting, edge security policies, and custom rule sets.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices in edge security.
• Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams as required.
