Qualifications

• 6-15 years of overall experience in IT.
• Hands-on Akamai WAF experience (WAF, Kona Site Defender).
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and DDoS mitigation.
• Experience tuning WAF rules and managing false positives.
• Practical security incident response experience.
• Ability to work independently in a distributed team and communicate in English.
• Nice to have Cloudflare, F5, Imperva and API security exposure; CISSP/CEH/GWAPT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, tune, and maintain Akamai WAF rules and policies.
• Participate in security incident handling, investigation, and resolution.
• Review WAF configurations, policies, and web app security posture.
• Identify attack patterns, anomalies, and vulnerabilities in web apps.
• Provide day-to-day support to the security team with best practices.
