Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-grade cloud-native apps using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and Azure. You will work on microservices, REST APIs, and AI-enabled features with RAG architectures, integrating Kafka for event-driven workflows.

You will design scalable data models, build CI/CD pipelines, and containerize with Docker for AKS deployments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet performance,

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Java Full Stack Development.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of API-driven architectures and service-oriented design principles.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases, data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Good experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven application architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes (AKS) orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with API gateways, service discovery, observability, monitoring, and logging solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, authentication, authorization, and identity management mechanisms.
• Practical experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Llama, or equivalent AI platforms.
• Experience building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using embeddings, vector databases, and enterprise content repositories.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI application architecture, and model integration patterns.
• Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
