Persistent is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer with 5-9 years of experience to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices on Azure. You will build front-ends in AngularJS or ReactJS, implement RESTful services, and contribute to AI-powered features including LLMs and RAG architectures.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and secure, scalable software in a hybrid work environment.

About Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java Spring Boot Microservices, cloud-native application development, modern front-end frameworks, and Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise applications while leveraging Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, containerization, and AI-powered architectures.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.
• Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using Angular or ReactJS.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services for high-performance distributed applications.
• Implement cloud-native architectures and scalable application designs on Microsoft Azure.
• Design and develop event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka and messaging technologies.
• Build and optimize database solutions using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments through Kubernetes (AKS).
• Implement monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and reliability engineering practices.
• Develop AI-powered business solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures utilizing vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge repositories.
• Integrate enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms to enable intelligent search and conversational AI experiences.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, DevOps teams, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application security, scalability, maintainability, and operational excellence following industry best practices.

Expertise You'll Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development.
• Strong experience in AngularJS and/or ReactJS for enterprise-scale front-end application development.
• Expertise in developing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Expertise in Docker containerization and Kubernetes (AKS) orchestration.
• Experience working with API Gateways, Service Discovery, Monitoring, and Logging frameworks.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
• Experience building scalable and high-availability enterprise applications.
