• 3-4 years of experience in residential interior design.
• Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes and residential interior detailing.
• Prior experience in client handling, design consultation and sales closure is highly preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand client budgets and propose commercially viable design solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and good working knowledge of 3D/design software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape or Revit.
• Ability to independently manage multiple prospective clients and design discussions.

Responsibilities

• Meet prospective clients and understand their requirements, lifestyle, design preferences and budget.
• Develop space plans, design concepts, mood boards and preliminary design proposals.
• Present design solutions confidently and effectively to clients.
• Prepare and explain estimates/quotations and guide clients through design, material and budget decisions.
• Follow up with prospective clients and drive projects towards sales closure.
• Recommend materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E).
• Coordinate with the internal design, production and execution teams after project confirmation.
• Ensure smooth transition from sales closure to design and execution.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the engagement.
