Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, overseeing space planning, design development, and coordination with architecture and construction teams. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves creating detailed design presentations, preparing construction drawings, specifying FF&E, and ensuring design intent is maintained through all phases. The individual will collaborate with clients to understand requirements, present design proposals, and manage feedback and revisions. The role includes supervising junior designers, coordinating with vendors and contractors, conducting site visits, and monitoring quality and timelines during execution.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to integrate aesthetic and functional requirements across residential and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Space Planning, including layout optimization, circulation, and zoning to create efficient and user-centric environments.
• Skill in developing Construction Drawings and technical documentation, with attention to detail and coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories aligned with design concepts and budgets.
• Advanced proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions clearly.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of progressive experience in interior design.
