Job summary

IDEMIA Public Security in Delhi seeks a Senior Support & Integration Engineer with 8+ years of enterprise application experience to support critical government applications and resolve production issues.

You will troubleshoot Java applications, JBoss, Oracle DB, REST/SOAP, and APIs, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and participate in deployments, on‑call rotations, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications for government or large enterprises.
• Strong troubleshooting and production incident ownership.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise Java applications in a production environment.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and performance-related issues.
• Support applications deployed on JBoss Application Server.
• Work with Oracle databases and SQL for issue analysis and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs, SOAP/Web Services, JSON/XML, and HTTP/HTTPS integrations.
• Perform API testing using Postman/SoapUI.
• Analyse JVM performance, memory utilisation, thread issues and application-server logs.
• Troubleshoot application-server connectivity with databases and external systems.
• Analyse database connectivity, sessions, locks and performance-related issues.
• Analyse logs, identify root causes, and provide timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and other technical teams for issue resolution.
• Support deployments, releases, and production changes as required.
• Willingness to provide 24×7/on‑call support when required
• Strong ownership of production incidents

Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Support & Integration Engineer with 8+ years of experience in enterprise application support and system integration. The role will involve supporting critical applications for a government client and resolving production and integration issues.

Key Missions
