Job summary

Eastman Exports is seeking a Senior HR Manager to lead the HR function for the Dyeing & Processing Unit. You will drive manpower planning, recruitment, and employee relations to support uninterrupted production and business objectives.

You will ensure statutory compliance across labor laws, manage HR operations, and collaborate with plant leadership on productivity, retention, and development initiatives. A strong manufacturing HR background is essential.

Qualifications

• MBA (HR) or MSW/PGDM in HR.
• 10–15+ years HR experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably textile dyeing/processing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, source, and recruit workers, staff, supervisors, and technical personnel to meet production and operational requirements.
• Maintain healthy employee relations, address grievances, manage disciplinary actions, and ensure a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws (Factories Act, EPF, ESI, Contract Labour Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, POSH).
• Oversee attendance, leave management, shift scheduling, overtime monitoring, payroll inputs, and workforce utilization.
• Manage contractor workforce deployment and ensure statutory compliance.

Position Summary

The Senior HR Manager will lead the HR function of the Dyeing & Processing Unit, ensuring effective manpower management, statutory compliance, employee relations, welfare initiatives, and HR operations to support uninterrupted production and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, source, and recruit workers, staff, supervisors, and technical personnel to meet production and operational requirements.
• Maintain healthy employee relations, address grievances, manage disciplinary actions, and ensure a positive work environment across the unit.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, including Factories Act, EPF, ESI, Contract Labour Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, POSH, and other statutory requirements.
• Oversee attendance, leave management, shift scheduling, overtime monitoring, payroll inputs, and workforce utilization.
• Manage contractor workforce deployment, verify statutory compliance, monitor labor productivity, and ensure adherence to company standards.
• Drive employee welfare programs, canteen, transport, accommodation, medical support, and engagement activities to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
• Coordinate performance appraisal processes, identify training needs, implement development programs, and support succession planning initiatives.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, HRMIS data, personnel files, HR reports, and implementation of HR policies and SOPs.
• Support internal, customer, and social compliance audits, ensuring readiness for certifications such as WRAP, SEDEX, BSCI, Higg Index, and buyer compliance requirements.
• Partner with plant leadership to drive productivity improvement, workforce planning, retention strategies, organizational development, and achievement of business goals.

• MBA (HR) / MSW / PGDM Human Resources.
• 10–15+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in textile dyeing / processing.
