Job summary

L&T Technology Services in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Hardware Test Engineer to lead validation and testing of automotive and embedded electronic hardware. The role focuses on vision systems, camera validation, electrical and EMC testing, environmental qualification testing, and hardware verification.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in hardware validation, hands-on vision system testing, CAN/LIN experience, and strong root cause analysis skills using 8D/5-Why/Fishbone methodologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hardware validation and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive Validation Test Plans (VTPs) based on customer and product requirements.
• Perform functional validation of vision systems and camera-based products, including color accuracy, contrast, resolution, alignment, and image quality assessments.
• Conduct electrical, EMC/EMI, and environmental validation testing to ensure product compliance and reliability.
• Execute environmental tests involving temperature, vibration, humidity, enclosure, and climatic chamber testing.
• Perform hardware board testing, board bring-up, debugging, and lab validation activities.
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and perform root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone methodologies.
• Create test cases and validation strategies from hardware requirements and specifications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve design and validation issues.
• Support compliance, qualification, and customer validation activities.
