Job summary

Eternal Robotics is seeking a Senior Hardware & System Integration Engineer in Pune to own hardware execution from requirements through system integration and commissioning. You will coordinate with mechanical, software and vision teams, design electrical panels, and develop robust documentation for deployment.

The role requires hands‑on experience in industrial automation, robotics and machine vision, plus strong troubleshooting, communication and customer-facing skills. Onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Automation, Robotics, Machine Vision or System Integration.
• Hands‑on technical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and own project execution.
• Strong customer handling, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical hardware design and industrial automation system integration.
• Design and review industrial control panels and electrical schematics.
• Prepare electrical BOMs, IO lists, cable schedules, GA drawings and test reports.
• Integrate PLC, HMI, Industrial PCs, machine vision cameras, lighting, servo/motion, barcode readers and safety devices.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Software, Vision, AI, Manufacturing, Vendors and Customer teams.
• Conduct hardware testing, IO validation, electrical safety testing, camera validation and system performance testing.
• Troubleshoot hardware and integration issues and perform RCA and corrective actions.
• Support installation, commissioning, customer training and system handover.
• Provide onsite technical support for electrical systems, PLC hardware, vision systems and networking.
• Develop and standardize engineering documentation, SOPs, QC checklists and deployment procedures.
• Drive project ownership and ensure timely and reliable project delivery.
