Job summary

Tata AutoComp is seeking a PCB Layout Design Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in multilayer PCB design for automotive and EV power electronics. Proficiency in Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture, or PADS, plus experience in Gerber generation and component library creation, is essential.

Ideal candidates will have strong IPC/IEC standards knowledge and be capable of cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, safety-critical automotive environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in multilayer PCB design (up to 6/8 layers).
• Experience in automotive and EV power electronics products.
• Strong knowledge of IPC/IEC standards and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in PCB stack-up, high-speed routing, EMI/EMC, DFM/ DFA/ DFT, and Gerber generation.

Responsibilities

• Design PCB layouts for automotive/EV power electronics.
• Create and maintain component libraries.
• Ensure compliance with IPC/IEC standards and DFM/DFT practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical/mechanical engineers.

We are looking for a PCB Layout Design Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in multilayer PCB design (up to 6/8 layers) for automotive and EV power electronics products.

Expertise in Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture, or PADS, PCB stack-up, high-speed routing, EMI/EMC, DFM/DFA/DFT, Gerber generation, and component library creation is required.

Experience in OBC, DC-DC, BMS, MCU, or other EV powertrain products is preferred.

Strong understanding of IPC/IEC standards and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.
