Senior Hardware Engineer / Technical Lead (Power Electronics | 8–10 Years)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Hardware Engineer to lead the design and development of EV power systems, including onboard chargers (OBC), DC‑DC converters, inverters, and charging infrastructure. This role demands strong technical expertise, system‑level thinking, and cross‑functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Hardware Ownership – Lead design of DC‑DC, AC‑DC (OBC), and inverter systems; define architecture, topology, and key design trade‑offs; own schematics, PCB design reviews, and releases.
• Design & Analysis – Perform switching loss calculations, thermal design, and magnetics design; work with SiC/GaN devices to optimize efficiency, power density, and cost.
• Simulation & Modeling – Develop models using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice; correlate simulation with hardware performance.
• Validation & Debugging – Lead prototype bring‑up and root cause analysis; debug EMI/EMC, switching, and thermal issues; define and execute validation plans.
• System Integration – Collaborate with embedded, BMS, and charging teams to ensure seamless system‑level integration.
• Compliance & Standards – Ensure compliance with ISO26262, IEC61851; awareness of ISO15118 preferred.
