We are looking for aPCB Design Engineerwith strong hands-on experience in circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, manufacturing coordination, and hardware validation.
The candidate should be capable of taking a PCB fromschematic to layout, manufacturing, assembly, and prototype bring-up.
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of professional experiencein PCB design and hardware development.
- Hands-on experience incircuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and board bring-up.
- Experience coordinating withPCB/PCBA manufacturersfor fabrication and assembly.
- Experience in prototype testing, debugging, and design revisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electronic schematics based on product requirements.
- Performmultilayer PCB layout and routingfor analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Select components based on technical requirements, availability, cost, and manufacturability.
- Apply good PCB practices forsignal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, grounding, thermal management, and high-current routing.
- Prepare production-readyGerber, BOM, Pick-and-Place, and fabrication/assembly files.
- FollowDFM, DFA, and DFTguidelines.
- Coordinate with PCB/PCBA manufacturers and review DFM feedback.
- Supportprototype board bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation.
- Work with hardware, firmware, embedded, mechanical, manufacturing, and procurement teams.
- Maintain PCB revisions and design documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits and components.
- Experience withmultilayer PCB design and schematic capture.
- Knowledge of analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal design.
- Understanding of PCB fabrication and PCBA processes.
- Knowledge ofDFM/DFA/DFT, creepage and clearance, trace-width calculations, grounding, and thermal considerations.
- Experience withoscilloscope, multimeter, bench power supply, and logic analyzer.
- Good communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, or similar PCB design tools.
- 4-layer or higher PCB design experience.
- STM32, ESP32, or similar microcontrollers.
- Ethernet, USB, CAN, RS-485, UART, SPI, I²C.
- DC-DC converters and power electronics.
- Controlled-impedance routing and EMI/EMC-conscious design.
- Industrial or automotive electronics.
- Designing products for volume manufacturing.
- Component sourcing and BOM cost optimization.
- Working with PCB/PCBA manufacturers such as JLCPCB, PCBWay, or Indian manufacturing partners.
Qualification
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree inElectronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
