Job summary

Epsilon Electronic Equipment & Components Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, is seeking a technically strong Hardware Test Engineer with hands-on telecom electronics experience, especially DTMF-based systems and power supply circuits, to own testing, fault diagnosis, and PCB repairs.

The role also involves coordinating production on the shop floor with the GM and ensuring test procedures meet RDSO specs and IRS standards.

Qualifications

• 58 years' hands-on experience in telecom electronics.
• Read circuit diagrams and troubleshoot to component level.
• Testing and repair on electronic hardware/PCBs.
• Exposure to PCB design is a plus.
• Coordinate production schedules and shop-floor activity.
• Diploma or BE/ BTech in Electronics, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own testing, fault diagnosis, and component-level repair of PCBs, power supply modules, and DTMF-based telecom hardware.
• Define and maintain test procedures aligned with RDSO specifications and IRS standards.
• Investigate field returns/repeat failures and work on corrective fixes.
• Support new product introduction with test-plan development and pilot-batch validation.
• Coordinate daily/weekly production schedules and shop-floor activity to meet dispatch timelines.
• Maintain testing and production records for management review.
• Liaise with the GM on capacity planning and production status.

Role

We're looking for a technically strong Hardware Test Engineer with hands-on telecom electronics experience especially DTMF-based systems and power supply circuits to own testing, fault diagnosis, and repair of our hardware/PCBs. The role also carries added responsibility for coordinating production on the shop floor alongside the GM.

What We're Looking For

• 58 years' hands-on experience in telecom electronics, with strong exposure to DTMF systems and power supply circuits.
• Clear understanding of hardware and PCBs able to read circuit/schematic diagrams and troubleshoot to component level.
• Proven testing and repair experience on electronic hardware/PCBs active fault-finding, not just theoretical.
• Some exposure to PCB design is a strong added advantage.
• Comfortable coordinating production schedules and shop-floor activity alongside core testing work.
• Diploma or B.E./B. Tech in Electronics, or equivalent.
