Job summary

PCS Management Consultancy Lucknow in Lucknow seeks an experienced GIS/Remote Sensing leader to drive end-to-end projects, from planning to execution, across land, cadastral, and infrastructure mappings.

The role requires strong leadership, governance, and QA/QC adherence to government standards while mentoring GIS analysts, engineers, and field teams to deliver high-quality results on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Remote Sensing & GIS
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Experience with government GIS projects, land records, urban planning, smart city, utility mapping, or development authority projects is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of GIS, land audit, cadastral mapping, and infrastructure mapping projects.
• Prepare project execution plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and budget to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and government agencies.
• Provide technical guidance on GIS, Remote Sensing, Drone Survey, GNSS Survey, and Spatial Database Management.
• Review GIS datasets, maps, reports, and spatial analyses.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, GIS standards, and QA/QC procedures.
• Drive implementation of new GIS technologies and automation.
• Lead and mentor GIS Analysts, GIS Engineers, Drone Teams, Survey Teams, and Field Coordinators.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Identify training needs and develop technical capabilities of team members.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients.
• Participate in technical discussions, project review meetings, and presentations.
• Resolve project issues and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare project status reports and management dashboards.
• Support preparation of technical proposals, RFPs, DPRs, and tender documents.
• Estimate project resources, timelines, and costs.
• Participate in technical presentations and pre-bid meetings.
• Establish GIS quality standards and review project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with DGCA guidelines, government regulations, and client specifications.
