Job summary

Civil Mantra is seeking a GIS professional to prepare, edit, and maintain GIS maps and spatial databases in Gurugram. You will perform GIS-based mapping, process satellite imagery, and prepare project-specific outputs in coordination with engineers and project teams.

The role requires basic GIS knowledge, familiarity with ArcGIS or QGIS, and proficiency in MS Excel. You will contribute to DPR and infrastructure projects with accuracy and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Understanding of GIS concepts and mapping.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS or QGIS is preferred.
• Basic MS Office skills for data management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, update, and maintain GIS maps and spatial databases.
• Perform GIS-based mapping and spatial data analysis per project needs.
• Digitize and process maps, drawings, satellite imagery and other spatial data.
• Prepare thematic, location, and alignment maps for projects.
• Collect, organize and validate GIS data from various sources.
• Assist in preparing GIS data for DPR and infrastructure projects.
• Work with coordinate systems, projections, georeferencing and spatial datasets.
• Data conversion, cleaning, editing and quality checks.
• Integrate survey data, GPS data, CAD drawings and other datasets into GIS.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams for GIS requirements.
• Maintain documentation and GIS databases for ongoing projects.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of GIS outputs before submission.
• Support senior GIS professionals in deliverables and technical reports.
