Service Line

Application Development and Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Carry out design, development, and implementation of GIS applications across desktop, web, and enterprise environments
• Work with leading GIS platforms (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS suite, Hexagon, GE Smallworld, AutoCAD Map3D) to configure and develop geospatial solutions
• Assist in spatial data management, data modelling, and data quality improvement initiatives
• Develop scripts and automation workflows using Python (e.g., ArcPy or equivalent)
• Participate in integration of GIS systems with enterprise applications (e.g., asset management, ERP systems)
• Support development of maps, dashboards, and spatial analytics solutions
• Contribute to GIS application testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into GIS solutions

Additional Responsibilities

• Programming fundamentals with Python or any scripting language
