Lead GIS Analyst (GIS Technical Lead)

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver end‑to‑end GIS solutions: data acquisition, modeling, processing, analysis, and map/application deployment for on‑site projects.
• Design and maintain geospatial data models, workflows, and ETL pipelines; ensure data integrity, metadata standards, and version control.
• Administer GIS servers and databases (ArcGIS Enterprise, PostGIS); optimize performance, security, backups, and access controls.
• Develop mapping and web GIS applications using Python, GDAL, GeoServer or JS mapping libraries; integrate spatial services with enterprise systems.
• Perform advanced spatial analysis, remote sensing / LiDAR processing as required; produce maps, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior GIS staff, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, manage vendor/field survey activities, and enforce GIS best practices and QA/QC.
