Job summary

Sumadhura Infracon in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the overall commercial management of large-scale projects, driving procurement strategies and value optimization. You will manage contracts, vendors and subcontractors, oversee billing, certifications and payments, monitor cash flows and profitability, and mentor the commercial team.

This role requires strong ERP/SAP knowledge, risk mitigation, MIS reporting, and collaboration with Finance, Legal and Execution teams

Responsibilities

• Lead overall commercial management of large-scale projects
• Develop strategic sourcing and procurement plans
• Manage vendors, contractors and subcontractors
• Oversee billing, certification and payment tracking
• Monitor project cash flow and receivables
• Control project budgets, cost variance and profitability
• Drive cost savings and margin improvement
• Manage contracts, claims, variations and disputes
• Handle final account settlement and contract closure
• Conduct rate analysis, BOQ review and cost evaluation
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization
• Identify and mitigate commercial and project risks
• Ensure contractual, statutory and company compliance
• Prepare commercial MIS and management reports
• Coordinate with QS, Procurement, Finance, Legal and Execution teams
• Lead and mentor commercial/project teams
• Conduct regular reviews with senior management
• Improve ERP/SAP-based commercial processes
• Support management in strategic commercial decisions
