Job summary

o9 Solutions is seeking an experienced professional to implement planning applications for retail, collaborating with global teams across multiple geographies. You will drive end-to-end lifecycle activities from blueprinting and configuration to testing and go-live while leveraging expertise in retail planning processes and data analytics.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on implementation experience for retail planning, strong SQL/MDX/T-SQL skills, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 2+ years implementing planning applications for retail industry.
• Experience in merchandise financial planning, assortment planning, allocations, replenishment, and forecasting.
• End-to-end implementation lifecycle including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• SQL Server/MySQL knowledge and SQL/MDX/T-SQL skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.
• Strong leadership and customer-facing abilities.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and prioritize high-value opportunities.

What you’ll have…

• At least 2+ years of experience with implementing planning applications for Retail Industry is a MUST
• Hands on experience with implementing solutions for one or more key retail planning processes such as Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment and Retail Forecasting
• Deep experience in end-to-end lifecycle of implementation; phases such as blueprinting, configuration, testing, go -live
• Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar is desirable
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
• Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain.
• Patient listener with the ability clearly articulate your viewpoint to manage and deliver to customer expectations, even under pressure
• Ability to analyze and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is key.
• Ability to simplify complexity
• Good to have certifications in retail planning, supply chain planning, TOGAF
