Job summary

o9 Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant to drive implementation and optimization of planning applications for a global client base. You will lead end-to-end projects, configure the platform, validate data, and support users across regions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into technical solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and product features.

Qualifications

• 4+ years total experience with at least 2+ years implementing planning applications
• Education: Btech/BE/MCA/Mtech
• Languages: SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar; R/SAS/CPLEX desirable
• Skills: supply chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning and S&OP
• End-to-end implementation lifecycle experience: blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live
• Experience in implementing planning processes like Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment and Retail Forecasting
• Proficient in MS Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
• Certifications in retail planning, supply chain planning, TOGAF desirable
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and data-driven decision making
• Ability to manage large data sets and deliver value under pressure

Responsibilities

• Ensure solution usability and uptime; resolve customer issues and verify data loads and end-to-end workflows
• Identify design issues and coordinate with other consultants for solutions; act as contact for platform upgrades
• Configure the o9 platform based on change requests and deliver enhancements post go-live
• Create and execute workflow and data analytics test cases; track issues to resolution
• Support Super User and End User training for a global user base
• Help improve internal processes and product features by interfacing with development and operations teams

Job Description: Consultant/Senior Consultant

What you’ll do for us…

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of industry best practices, business processes, o9’s solutions, technical architecture, and value proposition.
• Responsible for solution usability and uptime by resolving any customer issues in a timely fashion, ensuring accuracy of data loads and validating the e2e workflows.
• Identify any design issues in the existing setup and co-ordinate with other o9 consultants to solve the business problem. Be the single point of contact for any platform level upgrade/patch/hot fix.
• Configure the o9 platform based on the change requests/enhancements post go-live and deliver them to solve deep operations / supply chain problems.
• Create and execute workflow and data analytics test-cases. Work on bugs/issues and track progress at resolving issues using support tool.
• Support Super User and End User training, for a global user base.
• Actively help in improving internal processes and product features based on customer feedback by interfacing with the development and operations teams.

What you’ll have…

• Experience: 4+ years of total experiece with atleast 2+ years of experience with implementing planning applications is a MUST.
• Education: Btech/BE/MCA/Mtech
• Languages: SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar; Statistical, Optimization and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R, SAS, CPLEX or similar is desirable.
• Skills: Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts including Demand Management, Distribution Planning, Master Planning and S&OP.
• Deep experience in end-to-end lifecycle of implementation; phases such as blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live
• Hands on experience with implementing solutions for one or more key retail planning processes such as Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment and Retail Forecasting
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
• Good to have certifications in retail planning, supply chain planning, TOGAF
• Characteristics: Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain. Patient listener with the ability to clearly articulate your view point to manage and deliver to customer expectations, even under pressure. Ability to analyze and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is key. Ability to simplify complexity
