o9 Solutions seeks a Senior Functional Consultant-Retail in Bengaluru to implement planning applications for the Retail industry, covering blueprinting, configuration, testing and go-live. You will utilize Excel/PowerPoint for analysis, and SQL Server/MySQL knowledge to support data-driven decisions across global clients.

The role emphasizes leading deployments, collaborating across teams, and delivering measurable value in enterprise planning transformations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience implementing planning apps for Retail.
• Experience in Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment, and Forecasting.
• Strong Excel/PowerPoint and SQL/MySQL knowledge.
• Ability to lead end-to-end implementation and manage customer expectations.

What you’ll have…

• At least 2+ years of experience with implementing planning applications for Retail Industry is a MUST
• Hands on experience with implementing solutions for one or more key retail planning processes such as Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment and Retail Forecasting
• Deep experience in end-to-end lifecycle of implementation; phases such as blueprinting, configuration, testing, go -live
• Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T-SQL or similar is desirable
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
• Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain.
• Patient listener with the ability clearly articulate your viewpoint to manage and deliver to customer expectations, even under pressure
• Ability to analyze and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is key.
• Ability to simplify complexity
• Good to have certifications in retail planning, supply chain planning, TOGAF
