Job summary

o9 Solutions Bengaluru is seeking professionals to implement planning applications for the Retail Industry. You will contribute to merchandise planning, allocations, replenishment, and retail forecasting, driving end-to-end delivery from blueprinting to go-live.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on retail planning experience, strong data skills with SQL/MDX/T-SQL, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and present insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience implementing planning applications for Retail.
• Hands-on experience with planning processes: Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment, Forecasting.
• End-to-end implementation lifecycle: blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and languages like SQL, MDX, or T-SQL desirable.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation.
• Ability to lead by example in product and domain.
• Strong communication under pressure to manage customer expectations.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and identify high-value opportunities or risks.
• Ability to simplify complex information.
• Nice-to-have: certifications in retail planning, supply chain planning, TOGAF.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation lifecycle for retail planning projects.
• Implement planning processes such as FP&A, Assortment, Allocations, Replenishment, and Forecasting.
• Analyze data and present insights using Excel/PowerPoint.

What you ll have

• At least 2+ years of experience with implementing planning applications for Retail Industry is a MUST
• Hands on experience with implementing solutions for one or more key retail planning processes such as Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Allocations, Replenishment and Retail Forecasting
• Deep experience in end-to-end lifecycle of implementation; phases such as blueprinting, configuration, testing, go -live
• Knowledge and training in databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and skills one or more languages like SQL, MDX, T‑SQL or similar is desirable
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
• Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain.
• Patient listener with the ability clearly articulate your viewpoint to manage and deliver to customer expectations, even under pressure
• Ability to analyze and process large amounts of data and complement it with intuition to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks is key.
• Ability to simplify complexity
• Good to have certifications in retail planning, supply chain planning, TOGAF
