Fambo Innovation is seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5–8 years of expertise to join as Manager/Senior Manager. You will oversee financial strategy, compliance and investor relations, while driving growth in a high-growth startup environment.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, MIS and treasury activities, ensuring tax compliance and strong governance. The role requires hands-on leadership in a dynamic team and strong commercial acumen.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-8 years of expertise to join as Manager/ Senior Manager. In this role, you will oversee the financial strategy, compliance, and investor relations, while driving growth and ensuring operational efficiency in a high-growth environment.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and provide accurate financial forecast support strategic decisions.

• Financial Reporting and MIS: Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, and manage the Management Information System (MIS).
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxes, the Companies Act, and other applicable laws, maintaining relationships with auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Treasure & Investment: Manage treasury and investment strategies to maximize returns.
• Cost Control & Optimization: Implement cost optimization strategies to drive operational efficiency without sacrificing quality.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Oversee cash flow to ensure smooth operations and manage working capital to maintain liquidity and operational continuity.
• Investor Management: Manage relationships with existing and potential investors, ensuring transparent communication about the company's financial performance and future outlook.

Qualification: CA is mandatory; Experience in start up will be an added advantage

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
• Excellent knowledge of Financial Reporting, MIS and Management Dashboards
• Strong understanding of Direct & Indirect Taxation, GST and statutory compliance
• Sound knowledge of Companies Act, audit, regulatory compliance and corporate governance
• Strong Treasury, Investment and Cash Management skills
• Expertise in Cash Flow and Working Capital Management
• Proven ability in Cost Control, Cost Optimization and improving operational efficiency
• Strong Financial Analysis and Business Planning capabilities
• Excellent Investor Relations and Stakeholder Management skills
• Ability to manage internal and external auditors, consultants and regulatory authorities
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, financial modelling and accounting/ERP systems
