Job summary

Arohana Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled accounting professional to manage end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and journal entries, with a focus on accurate monthly and annual closings.

You will prepare financial statements, reconcile various accounts, and ensure GST and TDS compliance while coordinating with auditors and internal teams for timely regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, journal entries.
• Proficient in monthly, quarterly, and annual finalization and closing processes.
• Ability to prepare and review financial statements and schedules.
• Experience with bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with auditors and provide financial data and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with statutory payments, returns, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, variance analysis, aging reports, and management financial reports.
• Review entries for accuracy and proper classification, maintaining audit trails.

Job description

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, provisions, accruals, and expense accounting.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts finalization, ensuring accurate books and timely financial closing.
• Prepare and review Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, schedules, and financial statements.
• Perform regular bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, input tax credit reconciliation, and GST-related queries.
• Handle TDS compliance, including calculation, deduction, payment, reconciliation, and return filing.
• Support income tax compliance, tax computations, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors and provide required financial data and supporting documents.
• Ensure timely compliance with statutory payments, returns, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, variance analysis, ageing reports, and management financial reports.
• Review accounting entries and ensure proper classification, accuracy, and supporting documentation.
• Identify accounting and tax discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain financial accuracy.
• Maintain proper audit trails and documentation for financial and tax transactions.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, consultants, auditors, and internal departments for finance-related matters.
• Assist in budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, financial analysis, and management decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
• Utilize MS Excel and accounting/ERP software for financial analysis, reconciliations, reporting, and accounting operations.
