Job summary

Kanerika Inc is seeking a Senior Executive – Finance to lead core accounting, compliance, and financial reporting for a fast-growing SaaS business. The role requires CA interrupt or B.Com with 5+ years of hands-on finance experience, strong knowledge of TDS, GST and Labour Law, and experience with Zoho Books/Zoho Payroll.

You will manage day-to-day accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting, while strengthening internal controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• CA discontinued or B.Com with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Hands-on working experience with Zoho Books and Zoho Payroll.
• Experience with SEZ-related compliance is preferred.
• Prior experience in a SaaS business environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and Labour Law compliances.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) related activities.
• Process and initiate bank payments.
• Finalize payroll on a monthly basis.
• Manage Fixed Asset (FA) accounting.
• Prepare working capital reports and cash burn reports.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Identify gaps and streamline internal controls in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure timely and accurate TDS compliance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Labour Law requirements.
• Prepare and file GST returns.
• Conduct analytical review procedures on financial data.
• Prepare and deliver month-end financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is a CA-inter professional or a B.Com graduate with at least 5 years of hands-on finance and accounting experience, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and eager to take on new challenges, including strengthening internal controls along the way.
