Job summary

myHQ by ANAROCK is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Controllership professional (CA) to manage financial reporting, book closure, MIS preparation, and audit coordination. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals and the ability to work across business and finance teams.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years post-qualification experience, startup exposure is a plus, and proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting tools. You will drive accurate reporting and implement robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• CA qualification is mandatory
• 2–4 years post-qualification experience
• Startup experience and/or Big 4 exposure preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Hands-on with MIS, audits, AP/AR, and book closure
• Proficient in Excel and ERP/accounting tools

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books
• Prepare and present Monthly MIS reports and financial analysis
• Oversee AP and AR processes
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
• Coordinate quarterly and annual statutory audits
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for reconciliations and controls
• Support implementation and improvement of finance processes and SOPs
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of GST/TDS/compliances would be an advantage

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, experience in fast-paced startup environments, and the ability to work cross-functionally with business and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts
• Prepare and present Monthly MIS reports and financial analysis
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
• Coordinate and manage quarterly and annual statutory audits
• Work closely with internal stakeholders for reconciliations and financial controls
• Support implementation and improvement of finance processes and SOPs
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure timely compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Taxation knowledge including GST/TDS/compliances would be an added advantage
