Job summary

DP World in India is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee all warehouse functions including inward, sorting, picking, outbound and inventory management. You will plan manpower in line with volume fluctuations, ensure vehicle unloading on time, and acknowledge receipts by mail.

You will drive safety, hygiene, and loss control, respond to customer queries promptly, and escalate non-compliance to management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse functions: Inward, Sorting, Picking, Outbound and Inventory.
• Unload vehicles on time and acknowledge receipt via mail.
• Plan required manpower based on volume fluctuations and ensure timely responses to customer queries.
• Maintain safety for employees and premises and escalate non-compliance to management.
• Monitor productivity, analyze misses, and plan improvements to sustain margins.
• Ensure zero debits from customers and accurate reports for shipments.

• Need to plan required manpower in line with volume fluctuations.
• Blue caller manpower handling.
• Responsible for loss control of site.
• Need to analyze ops miss report and productivity.
• Need to ensure good hygiene of warehouse .
• Timely reply of customer queries.
• Not to compromise on safety of employees and premises.
• Timely escalations to Management on non-compliance.
• Timely revert on mail for any short/ excess shipments received.
• Plan for Improve productivity of the site.
• Layout wise manpower planning.
• oRegional P & L management
• Ensure zero debits from customer.
• Avoid productivity loss in Ops to sustain margins.
• Ensure P & L in line within budget
• Customer relationship Management
• Support in customer based on timely need.
• Resolving customer queries and sending reports timely.
• Customer escalation handling, proactively take actions to reduce complaints along with Warehouse Manager
