Job summary

Talent Analytica in Gujarat is seeking a qualified engineer to lead TQM activities in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on training staff, deploying quality tools, and guiding problem solving and SPC usage to improve process capability.

The candidate will drive IMS implementation, coordinate audits (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, SA 8000) and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Experience with Kaizen and 5S is essential.

Qualifications

• First Class Graduate Engineer with 5-9 years of experience in managing TQM activities in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience implementing Integrated Management Systems and audits.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, SA 8000 and customer audits.

Responsibilities

• Train employees on quality management principles and tools.
• Provide guidance on problem solving techniques and SPC tools.
• Upgrade operator levels through skill matrix evaluation.
• Ensure compliance to TQM road map and audit requirements.
• Coordinate implementation and audits under IMS and customer standards.
• Support annual planning cycle and track goal sheets and themes.
• Promote Kaizen and 5S; ensure adherence to process control and quality charts.

Job description

Raising people capabilities through adoption of TQM practices

• To train the employees on various principles and tools of quality management.
• To train and provide guidance on Problem Solving techniques and other SPC tools
• To upgrade level of operators through evaluating their skills and knowledge based on skill matrix.

Compliance to TQM road map

• Adhere & facilitate to its progress
• Audit compliance from different customer

Timely implementation of Annual Planning Cycle

• Support in implementing annual planning cycle by deployment of unit level directions and control points to various processes and down to operating level.
• To coordinate the goal sheet preparation for all employees
• To track the themes implementation for all the employees

Employee Involvement

• Ensure Kaizen / employee as per the target
• Ensure good 5S in all the areas
• Ensure compliance to Process Control (Quality Table, ACPC, QA Map and Control Charts) as per the SOP

Implementing systems under IMS comprising of ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and SA 8000

• Coordinate for implementation of Integrated Management System (IMS)
• Facilitate periodic internal audits

Implementing systems under other customer audit Wal-Mart, AutoZone etc. and other Pharma customer

• Coordinate for implementation of customer findings
• Facilitate periodic internal audits

Preferred candidate profile

Ideal candidate must be a First Class Graduate Engineer with 5-9 years of experience in managing TQM Activities in a manufacturing plant
