Job summary

UNO MINDA in Haryana, India seeks a quality lead to maintain and improve the QMS per IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, while ensuring CSR and OEM standards compliance. You will conduct internal and supplier audits, coordinate customer certifications and surveillance audits, and drive CAPA closure with robust documentation control.

The role requires leading continuous improvement through Kaizen and Six Sigma, supporting APQP/PPAP, FMEA, SPC/MSA, and Control Plans, and presenting QMS KPIs in MRMs.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Lead Auditor Certification in IATF 16949/ISO 9001 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve QMS as per IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Ensure compliance with CSR and OEM standards.
• Conduct internal system, process, product, and LPA audits.
• Coordinate customer, certification, and surveillance audits.
• Prepare, review, and control SOPs, procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
• Monitor closure and effectiveness of CAPA.
• Lead problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Support implementation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Control Plans.
• Conduct Management Review Meetings and present QMS KPIs.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Track quality objectives, process performance, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams.
• Manage risk assessment, change management, and document control activities.
