Job Description: Senior Executive – Quality Assurance Location: Shirwal (Satara) Industry: Manufacturing – Rubber Components Role Objective To execute and control quality processes on the shopfloor, ensure product conformity to specifications, and support compliance with ISO and customer quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

A. Quality Operations

• Supervise in-process and final inspection activities
• Review inspection reports, test results, and quality records
• Ensure adherence to control plans, drawings, and SOPs
• Support first-off approvals and process change validations

B. Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain quality documentation, records, and traceability
• Support ISO and customer audits with accurate data and evidence
• Monitor calibration status of gauges and measuring instruments
• Ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions

C. Problem Solving & Improvement

• Analyze internal rejections, scrap, and rework
• Support root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone)
• Coordinate corrective actions with Production and Maintenance
• Drive basic process improvements to reduce quality losses

D. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Production for process stability
• Coordinate with Stores and Dispatch for quality clearance
• Escalate critical quality issues to QA Lead / QA Manager

Decision Authority

• Approve inspection results within defined quality limits
• Stop or hold production for serious quality deviations (with escalation)

KPIs

• Internal rejection rate
• Audit NC closure timelines
• Scrap and rework reduction
• Documentation accuracy

Qualification & Experience
