Job summary

Angel and Genie in Pune district seeks an experienced Quality Development professional to lead quality plans for both new and existing parts. You will collaborate with SQ and Quality teams to create procedures and inspection plans, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

The role involves traveling, training staff, and working in a matrix organisation. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Engineering degree and have 5–8 years in manufacturing ( Automotive preferred), with knowledge of

Responsibilities

• Work with SQ and Quality functions for New Parts development.
• Create local procedures and work instructions for incoming inspection based on global procedure.
• Create quality plans for Initial and series parts incl. rubber parts, hardware, gaskets and machined parts.
• Develop quality plans for project system business parts like fabrication components and panels.
• Review supplier quality documentation and compliance with requirements.
• Establish the system of incoming parts inspection and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Engineering Degree (or higher), (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering);
• Experience in Quality Development function
• Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; (Experience in Automotive sector preferred)
• Technology knowledge and experience at least one out of the following commodities: Metal casting, Welding, Stamping, Plastic Moulding, Electronics, Complex assembly;
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 – preferably internal auditor qualification;
• Experience of inspection of components and assemblies
• Experienced in MS tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project);

Position Functions

• Working with SQ function and Quality function for the New Parts development.
• Create a local procedure, work instruction for incoming inspection activity based on the global procedure.
• Create the quality plans for (Initial and series) parts. Commodities are, rubber parts (o rings), Hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, seal rings) Gaskets. And machined parts (turn and milled).
• Create the quality plans for the project system business parts like fabrication parts, control panels, silencers, alternators, radiators, oil/fuel tanks etc.
• Review supplier quality documentation and compliance with the requirements
• Establish the system of Incoming parts inspection and documentation
