Job summary

Flex is hiring a Senior Executive - Program Management in Chennai to support product development and manufacturing programs. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, track metrics, and drive actions to meet deliverables across the product lifecycle.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of PM processes in the sheet metal domain. The position involves night shifts and potential weekend work based on site needs, with ERP experience (Baan / SAP) and a background

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 6-8 years of PM domain experience.
• Knowledge of INCO terms and their impact on P&L.
• Hands-on experience with ERP tools (Baan / SAP).
• Ability to work weekends based on site requirements.
• Night shift 7pm–4am.

Responsibilities

Job Description

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Executive - Program Management located in Chennai location. Reports to the Manager, and the role involves, What a typical day looks like:

• Must have good knowledge of Program management process from Sheetmetal domain.
• Must have led critical and high impact projects.
• Have sound knowledge of program Management methodologies and have good manufacturing experience preferably in sheet metal industry.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.
• Oversee/ Coordinates program activities with all inter-departments ensuring completion of all commitments made relative to agreed deliverable.
• May collect and prepares information for use in discussion/meetings of management staff
• Responsible for tracking relevant metrics and drive action items based on results within GBS / SITE CFT team
• Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills & Customer Management Skill
• Excellent understanding on Program Management concepts, New Product Introduction / New Product Development / different phases of Product life cycle
• Sound knowledge of office automation or automation through Excel will be added advantage

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Management or equivalent
• Typically requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience in PM Domain
• Sound understanding /knowhow on the financial terms/ INCO Terms and its impact on the Profit & Loss on the business
• Hands on experience on using the ERP tool like Baan / SAP for PM role.
• Flexible working on weekends based on site requirements
• Night shift (7pm – 4am)
