Job summary

Flextronics in Chennai is seeking a Junior Engineer – Engineering Change Management to support ECO creation, BOM maintenance, and related documentation. You will coordinate changes with engineering, manufacturing and customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with document control policies.

The role is suited for candidates with 0–2 years in manufacturing, a BE in ECE/EEE/Electronics, and strong MS Office skills. Night shifts are expected; health insurance and PTO are provided by Flex.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably EMS
• BE in Electronics/EEE
• Good written and oral communication, analytical thinking and technical foundation

Responsibilities

• Creates, implements and finalizes ECOs and makes system changes.
• Maintains BOMs, drawings, ECOs and related documents.
• Coordinates ECO status with customers and implements cost changes and dates.
• Ensures compliance with document control policies.
• Ensures data accuracy and documentation completeness.
• Manages product configuration and manufacturing/customer requirements.
• Interfaces with program manager, engineering, manufacturing and materials to document changes.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Engineer – Engineering Change Management located in Chennai.

Responsibilities

• Creates, implements and finalizes engineering change orders (ECO's) and makes system changes.
• Performs file maintenance of BOM’s, parts drawings, ECO’s, process alerts and other customer documents.
• Coordinates ECO status with customer and implements cost changes and effective dates.
• Ensures projects are in compliance with document control policies and procedures.
• Ensures data accuracy and completeness of documentation including logs, reports and distribution.
• Manages and tracks product configuration and manufacturing/customer requirements.
• Responsible for interface between program manager, engineering, manufacturing and materials to ensure appropriate changes are documented.

Qualifications

• Minimum 0- 2 years of experience as a in a Manufacturing set up, preferably in EMS industry
• B.E Electronics and Communication Engineering / EEE / Electronics
• Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook
• Sound Knowledge on technical subject.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Very Good analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Good Attitude
• Ready to work in night shifts.
