Job summary

IGP in Mumbai is seeking a packaging procurement professional to manage day‑to‑day purchasing of corrugated boxes, mono cartons, gift boxes, paper bags and related materials. You will coordinate with vendors for pricing, samples and on-time delivery, track POs and inventory, and identify cost-saving opportunities while supporting new packaging development and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma with 2–4 years of experience in packaging procurement.
• Experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, gifting or D2C preferred.
• Strong negotiation, vendor coordination and cost-improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of corrugated boxes, mono cartons, gift boxes, paper bags, labels, ribbons, Pouches and other packaging materials.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing, samples, production and timely delivery.
• Track POs, open orders, inventory requirements and material deliveries.
• Maintain vendor master, price list, PO and procurement trackers.
• Compare current prices with previous PO/market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support vendor development and identify alternate suppliers.
• Coordinate packaging samples, trials and new product development requirements.
• Support commercial negotiations and supplier finalization.
• Prepare weekly/monthly procurement MIS and highlight delays, cost changes and supply risks.
