Job summary

Adecco India is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist Packaging in Gurugram to manage end-to-end procurement of primary and secondary packaging materials. You will oversee vendor management, negotiations, and cost optimization to support production schedules.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement, with at least 3 years in packaging procurement, and hands-on ERP experience (SAP/Oracle/Tally) plus Advanced Excel. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and vendor management
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally or similar) and Advanced Excel
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of packaging materials such as bottles, jars, cartons, corrugated boxes, labels, pouches, caps, closures, and other packaging components
• Source and develop new vendors while maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Ensure timely procurement to support production requirements
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, QA, R&D, Finance, and Marketing teams
• Monitor inventory levels and support procurement planning
• Drive cost-saving initiatives through alternate sourcing and vendor negotiations
• Experience in raw material procurement will be an added advantage
