Job summary

Motherson Group's Vision Systems division seeks a skilled Korean translator/ interpreter in India to support meetings, translate documents, and facilitate smooth day-to-day communications between Korean expats and local teams.

The role collaborates with SCM, Purchase, and Procurement, requiring a Bachelor’s degree and 3–8 years in translation. Proficiency in Korean and English, TOPIK certification preferred, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Korean language with TOPIK certification preferred.
• 3-8 years of experience in translation/interpretation roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication in Korean and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide Korean-English translation and interpretation during meetings and discussions.
• Translate business documents, manuals, SOPs, emails, reports, and presentations.
• Support Korean expatriates and local teams in day-to-day communication and coordination.
• Coordinate with SCM, Purchase, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams.
• Assist in preparation and interpretation of procurement-related documentation and reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in translated content.
• Support management during audits, reviews, and client/vendor interactions.

What you’ll do

• Key Responsibilities
• Provide Korean English/Hindi translation and interpretation support during meetings, conferences, and business discussions.
• Translate business documents, technical manuals, SOPs, emails, reports, and presentations accurately.
• Support Korean expatriates and local teams in day-to-day communication and coordination.
• Work closely with SCM, Purchase, and Procurement teams for vendor communication and operational support.
• Assistin preparation and interpretation of procurement-related documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments including Production, Quality, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
• Facilitate smooth communication between Korean headquarters and Indian operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all translated content.
• Support management during audits, reviews, and client/vendor interactions.

What we are looking for

• Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Proficiencyin Korean language with TOPIK certification preferred.
• 3-8 years of experience in translation/interpretation roles.
• Prior experience in Automotive or Manufacturing industry is mandatory/preferred.
• Exposure to SCM, Purchase, Procurement, or Supply Chain operations preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English.
• Good understanding of business and technical terminology.
• Proficiencyin MS Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
