Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Korean Language or TOPIK Level 4+.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Korean interpretation and translation.
• Strong verbal and written English and Korean.
• Proven expertise in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Korean-English interpretation during meetings, discussions, training sessions, and operations.
• Perform simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for expatriates and Indian team members.
• Translate business documents, technical manuals, SOPs, emails, presentations, and reports.
• Support cross-functional communication between Korean and Indian teams to ensure seamless coordination.
• Assist Korean management during plant operations, audits, vendor meetings, and customer visits.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in translations.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Korean Interpreter to support communication between

Korean expatriates and Indian team members within our manufacturing operations in Nagpur.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enabling smooth communication across departments including

Production, Engineering, Utility, Quality, Administration, HR, and Management. The position requires strong

interpretation, translation, coordination, and cultural adaptability skills in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Korean-English interpretation during meetings, discussions, training sessions, and operational activities
• Perform simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for Korean expatriates and Indian team members
• Translate business documents, technical manuals, SOPs, emails, presentations, reports, and operational communications
• Support cross-functional communication between Korean and Indian teams to ensure seamless coordination and workflow
• Assist Korean management during plant operations, audits, vendor meetings, customer visits, and internal reviews
• Facilitate effective communication in manufacturing, production line, utility, engineering, and construction-related activities
• Coordinate with HR, Admin, Production, Quality, and other departments for day-to-day communication support
• Support expatriate employees with business communication and workplace coordination li>

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BA/MA) in Korean Language or TOPIK Level 4 & above.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Korean interpretation and translation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English
• Proven expertise in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation
• Experience of working in manufacturing, industrial, engineering, electrical, utility, construction, or production line environments will be highly preferred
• Familiarity with manufacturing and technical terminology is an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong cultural adaptability and ability to work effectively in a Korean corporate environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office and professional business communication
