Motherson Group’s Vision Systems division seeks a data analytics professional to support Global Sales with dashboards and insights. You will track RFQ activities, budgets, visits, contracts, and product development, feeding central databases and generating insights across markets.

The role emphasizes analytical skills, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and Tableau in a fast-paced automotive context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Engineering or MBA from a good college.
• 3 to 5 years handling similar responsibilities.
• Excellent desktop research capabilities using tools.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Team on creating reporting dashboards for the team.
• Introduce and track key sales activities for Global Sales Team.
• Update and control the central database for Sales.
• Analyze trends in global automotive accessories and aftermarket.
• Prepare and circulate periodic reports on market trends and activities.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, visualizations for stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Work with the Sales Team on creating reporting dashboards for the team.
• Introduce and track Key Sales activities for Global Sales Team like RFQ trackers, quote submissions, budgets, customer visit plans, customer contracts, product development activities etc.
• Update and Control the central database for Sales.
• Analyse key trends in the global automotive accessories and aftermarket.
• Analyse sales trends, inventory levels, customer behaviour, product performance, and market dynamics.
• Prepare and circulate periodic reports capturing market trends, key internal activities etc
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations for key stakeholders using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Collaborating with global sales team to take and give insights on the business
• Attend some events on behalf of Motherson aftermarket to represent and gather information on competition, key market trends, etc.

What we are looking for

• Experience: 3 to 5 years handling similar responsibilities.

• Automotive Component market knowledge would be helpful, not compulsory
