You will bridge Korean management and Indian staff, translating documents and facilitating meetings across departments while maintaining strict confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and fluency in Korean and English are required.
• Professional translation/interpretation certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in business-level Korean (TOPIK Level 4 or equivalent).
• Native or near-native fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a proficient Korean-English Business Interpreter & Translator to facilitate seamless communication between our Korean management and Indian workforce at the Noida branch. Reporting directly to the Korean Branch Head, you will be the communication bridge ensuring accurate, culturally-sensitive interpretation across business, technical, and operational discussions. This is a managerial-level position requiring native or near-native Korean fluency, business acumen, and deep understanding of both Korean and Indian corporate cultures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Korean-English and English-Korean interpretation during business meetings, operational discussions, and management interactions
• Translate business documents, emails, reports, presentations, manuals, policies, and official communications with accuracy
• Support communication between Korean management and Indian employees across all departments
• Assist Korean expatriates and management in daily operational coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making
• Interpret technical, administrative, legal, and business-related discussions with precision and completeness
• Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary company information, strategic discussions, and sensitive data
• Coordinate communication between various departments to ensure alignment and understanding
• Prepare, review, and manage translated documents, reports, and official records
• Support management meetings, client discussions, facility tours, and internal review sessions
• Assist in documentation, technical report translation, and administrative coordination activities
• Support cross-cultural communication strategies and bridge cultural gaps between Korean and Indian teams
• Participate in onboarding and induction programs for Korean expatriates
• Maintain professional documentation of all translation and interpretation activities
• Assist with policy communication ensuring clarity and compliance across the organization
• Support HR coordination in employee relations matters involving language barriers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (any discipline) with fluency in Korean and English as primary requirement
• Professional certification in Translation/Interpretation (preferred but not mandatory)
• Minimum proficiency in business-level Korean language (TOPIK Level 4 or equivalent)
• Native or near-native fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Experience

• 10 years of total experience in interpretation, translation, or business communication roles
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Korean company or Korean business environment
• Proven track record in corporate-level interpretation and document translation
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sector communication
• Hands-on experience supporting Korean management in Indian operations
• Background in technical document translation and business communication

Preferred Experience

• Experience in engineering or manufacturing sector terminology
• Exposure to Indian labour laws and compliance-related communication
• Previous experience coordinating Korean expatriate teams
• Knowledge of Korean business culture and management practices
• Experience with simultaneous interpretation in meetings
