Job summary

Tata International Limited is seeking a BE Mechanical engineer with 1-3 years experience to join our manufacturing operations in Ranipet. You will work on improving unit efficiency, multiskilling operators, and supporting data analysis to drive productivity.

You will monitor production minutes, implement best practices such as 5S and TBEM, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain quality and lean initiatives across the unit.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical engineering degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Improve overall efficiency of the unit.
• Increase workforce utilization during lean periods through multiskilling and skill development.
• Monitor production minutes and support data analysis.

Job Purpose

Responsible to support in improvement of overall efficiency of the Unit Responsible

Key Responsibilities

• Better utilization of workforce capacity during lean period by multiskilling & skill set improvement# Monitor production minutes and update the IE data centre team for data analysis
• Implementation of best practices by Cross learning across Various Supply chain & Business related production Units
• Contribution in implementation of Quality Improvement Projects (QIP) like 5S, TBEM

Supervise & authorize tasks as directed by Manager
